Description
Re-engine from a single steam turbine to a diesel in 1965, by Fraser Shipyards (Superior, Wisconsin).

Sold for scrap in 1987 to Aaron A. Frerer & Sons (Omaha, Nebraska) and then resold to Turkish shipbreakers. Cleared Quebec on Sept 15, 1987 with Enders M. Voorhees towed by the British tug Irving Cedar. The scrap tow arrived Algeciras, Spain on October 24, 1987 and then left again on December 15, 1987, towed by Greek tug Everest. The tow arrived in Aliaga, Turkey on Dec 27, 1987.
