Description
- She was stripped down to a barge at Toronto, Ontario in 1977 and renamed WITTRANSPORT II.
- Reported sold to unknown Panamainan interests and was laid up in Kingston, Ontario awaiting her tow off Lakes which never ended up transpiring.
- In 1978 her wheelhouse was removed and placed aboard the tug BAYPORT (2) C.117431.
- WITTRANSPORT II was towed from Kingston, Ontario to Deseronto, Ontario on May 10th, 1984.
- Subsequently purchased by McKeil Work Boats Ltd., Hamilton, Ontario she was towed out of Deseronto on November 11th, 1987 and arrived at Hamilton November 15th.
- Sold to A.D.M. Aggregates Industries Ltd., Windsor, Ontario in 1991.
- Towed up the Welland Canal to Windsor in late December 1991 for use as a vegetable oil storage barge.
- Finally in 2007 sometime she was towed to LaSalle, Ontario and cut up for scrap.
