Description
She suffered a fire aboard on 23 October 1982 at Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. She was subsequently reported to be lying derelict at anchorage in a position 27.13N/51.48E in the Persian Gulf east of Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Evidently she remained there from February of 1983 until she finally sank in March of 1986. It is assumed that salvage was never attempted..
