Description

Laid up at Toronto at the end of the 1977 shipping season and did not sail again. Towed to Hamilton in October of 1978 where she loaded a cargo of scrap steel. The tugs Robert H and Techno Venture towed Leadale down the Seaway on December 12-13 and she wintered at Quebec City until the spring of 1979. Departed Quebec City in June 1979 behind the deep sea tug Ocean Birch bound for Cartagena, Colombia.
