Scraped bottom on 28 October 1979 in St. Lawrence River while bound for Trois Rivieres, Quebec City with a cargo of grain. upon inspection, found to be damaged beyond economical repair and she was subsequently sold to Strathearne Terminals in Hamilton for scrapping. Resold to Spanish shipbreakers. Renamed Company for scrap tow. Arrived under tow at Santander Spain June 11, 1980.
