Color photos of these St Laurent coasters are quite hard to find. Thank you for showing.

1965-07-18: Overwhelmed by a sudden tornado in mid Lake Ontario, off Trenton, ON while en route Trois-Pistoles to North Tonawanda, NY with 550 cords of aspen wood. Sank to deck level, but remained afloat due to the cargo of dry wood. Towed to Rochester, NY by Georgian Bay. Unloaded deck cargo by hand, refloated, and in two weeks made repairs to the hull and motors.
Delivered the remaining cargo to North Tonawanda.
Declared a total loss at Marine Industries Ltd, Sorel and at Davie Brothers, Lévis. Ship retired to Petite Rivière St-François, QC to be converted to restaurant, but was later burned by vandals.
