Description
1964 November 26 - Collided with the Israeli liner SHALOM - STOLT DAGALI was cut in half and her stern section sank. The bow and cargo section remained afloat.
1964 December 1 - The tanker C.T. GOGSTAD ran aground at Sundsvall, Sweden - she was salvaged however her forward section sank. Just her stern was salvaged.
1965 - The bow and cargo hold section from STOLT DAGALI and the stern of C.T. GOGSTAD were towed to Gothenburg, Sweden and joined together to form a new ship. Later that year the ship re-entered service as STOLT LADY (IMO 5056511) and went on to sail as such until 1971, LIDO until 1974, FLEURTJE until 1975 and finally MATTHIAS III until she was retired in 1979. Arrived Bilbao, Spain on 3 September 1979 for demolition.
