BORAG ran aground off the North coast of Taiwan in a position 25.12N/121.44E on 7 February 1977 while she was sailing from the Mena Saud oil terminal in Kuwait for Shen-ao, Taiwan. She was reportedly destined thereafter for Kaohsiung, Taiwan where she was to be cut up for scrap.
