Description
Converted to a bulk freighter by American Ship Building Company (Buffalo, New York) in 1942, for he U.S. War Shipping Administration for off-lakes service during World War II. Returned to the Great Lakes service for the 1943 season, under charter to Nicholson Transit Company.

Converted to a refuse barge after being sold to Hyman-Michaels Company. Used as a temporary breakwater at Two Rivers, Wisconsin.
