Description
On 17 August 1973 while she was on a voyage from Chekka, Lebanon to Lagos, Nigeria with a cargo of bagged cement she was in a collision with the Dutch general cargo ship GREBBESTROOM off the Algerian coast in the Mediterranean Sea.. Following the collision VIKI sank however, thankfully her entire crew was rescued by GREBBESTROOM..
