Description
On June 24, 2019 the Billings struck the geared bulker Rosaire Desgagnés while leaving her slip in Montreal, Quebec. The ship was transiting the St. Lawrence Seaway from the shipyard in Marinette, Wisconsin to its future home port of Mayport, Florida. After the assisting tugs cast off their lines the Billings drifted into the Rosaire Desgagnés, causing minor damage, including damage to the starboard bridge wing, and no injuries.
