Montrealais - Welland Canal - July 2, 1980
 
Photographed while secured at wharf 16 in Port Colborne, Ontario on 2 July 1980.
She had been in a head on collision with the brand new Algobay on the St. Clair River, a few days earlier on 25 June 1980.

i was deckhand on the Montrealais in 1979 - a typically handsome laker, i thought ... i'd like to find out how a collision happens on the St.Clair river -
