USS Zuni
USS Zuni - Norfolk, Virgina - September 14, 2010

Former US Navy fleet ocean tug Zuni (ATF-95) as shown while dockside at Norfolk on September 14, 2010. Built in 1943 as ZUNI, she was transfered in 1946 to the USCG who renamed her Tamaroa (WMEC-166) and gave almost 5 decades of service before decommissioning in 1994. This veteran tug was to be restored to its WW2 appearance and preserved at Portsmouth but plans did not work out and in 2017 the hull of the ship was scuttled off the coast of Cape May, New Jersey to add to an existing artificial reef..
