Princess Danae (ex: Port Melbourne 1955-1972, Therisos 1972-1974, Danae 1974-1992, Starlight Princess 1992-1992, Danae 1992-1992, Anar1992-1992, Starlight Princess 1992-1994, Baltica 1994-1996) as shown while upbound on the St. Lawrence River off Varennes on August 3, 2009. Ever since she as Port Melbourne and her sister Port Sydney were converted to cruise ships as Danae and Daphne in the 1970s, it was the first visit to Montréal by either of them, a unique opportunity for the local ship photography fraternity to see and document a true legend. |
