Sitkinak at CG mooring buoy in diamond Island Roads, Casco Bay. Patrol Boat, 110-foot Island class (WPB). The Coast Guard 110-foot Island-class patrol boats are modified versions of a well-regarded British-designed patrol boat. These ships have excellent range and seakeeping capabilities, but are wearing out rapidly and are to be replaced by the fast response cutter. |
