Austin (LPD-4) was the lead ship of her class of amphibious transport dock ships in the United States Navy and she is shown in storage at the Naval Inactive Ship Maintenance Facility in Philadelphia on September 28, 2009. She had been decommissioned at Norfolk on September 27, 2006 and towed to the NISMF the following month. She was scrapped at Brownsville in 2010. |
