| Photographed while sailing upbound in the Welland Canal south of lock 3 on 26 July 1960 on one of her earliest voyages. Astern of Laconia was the retired laker Calumet can be seen as she was being towed down the canal by Salvage Monarch and Salvage Prince enroute to Scotland where she was later cut up for scrap. |
