| Sombra dock’s causeway was severely damaged by ice in January 2018. This resulted in the permanent end of Bluewater Ferry as the cost of repair was not acceptable. Bluewater Ferry’s second and smaller ferry, Ontamich, was sold on July 8, 2020 to an individual who lives on Lake Huron |
