Buckeye - Toledo, Ohio - 1979 |
|
1979. She was just sold by the Columbia Transportation Fleet to the Lake Transportation Company and was converted to a barge. This is her original color scheme for the Lake Transportation Company. Over the years she had variations to her hull color scheme. The tug Olive L. Moore was the tug used to tow the buckeye. This view shows her at the Lakefront Coal Docks where she would be out sailing in several weeks. |
