Photographed while she was lying in between the retired steamers Lackawanna and Kinsman Venture in the turning basin at Toronto, Ontario during January of 1974. The tugs Salvage Monarch and Helen M. McAllister had delivered Kinsman Venture there 31 August 1973, Lackawanna on 3 September 1973 and then Ridgetown on 4 September 1973. The following year Ridgetown was used as a breakwater at Port Credit while Lackawanna and Kinsman Venture were towed overseas for scrapping in Germany. |
